Gold Care-Instructions at Home
For cleaning your gold jewellery, fill a bowl with warm water, add any mild soap or dish wash liquid, mix it well, and soak your gold in it for 30 minutes. Rinse with tap water and let it air-dry completely
Do not use any hard brush while cleaning your gold jewellery, as gold is a soft metal and is susceptible to scratches, dents, and dings. Use of a very soft brush is recommended.
Your gold jewellery should be cleaned at least once in 2 months.
Do not use any harsh chemicals such as bleach, acetone, and chlorine while cleaning your gold, as it can damage it.
Pearl Care-Instructions at Home
Once you take off your pearl jewellery, wipe it with a damp, soft cloth to prevent harmful build-ups that may cause damage to it.
Store pearls in a soft-lined jewellery box or soft-cloth pouch. Never store them in an air- tight environment, as pearls are organic and contain water traces, which can make them brittle and damage the luster.
These delicately beautiful gifts of nature- Pearls, are sensitive too. Wear them at least 30 minutes after applying personal care products such as cosmetics, hair sprays, sun block cream, perfume, etc
Diamond Care-Instructions at Home
To clean diamonds at home, you only need warm water, mild soap, and a soft-bristled toothbrush. Soak your diamond in warm soapy water for 20 minutes, clean it gently with a brush, and dry it with a soft-lint free cloth.
Ideally diamonds should be cleaned once every 2 weeks. However, please don’t use any chemicals, harsh detergents, or toothpaste for cleaning.
Make sure you store the diamond separately from other jewellery and avoid wearing your diamond in extreme temperatures or during “rigorous activities such as rock climbing, swimming, etc.
