GOMED, commonly known as Hessonite Garnet, belongs to the garnet family and is predominantly found in Sri Lanka and Orissa. This stone showcases a distinct reddish-brown hue often referred to as ‘Gomutra’ (cow’s urine), which interestingly is also the reason behind its popular name, Gomed. DIA, RUBY.

Gomed Care at Home

1. Clean your Gomed Jewelry using a mild mixture of soap and water.
2. Be cautious not to soak it in the mixture, as it may damage your Gomed Jewelry.
3. Avoid exposing your Comed Jewelry to hot steam, harsh chemicals, or abrasive cleaning agents, as these can harm the gemstone’s appearance and luster.
4. After cleaning, ensure it’s dried with a clean, soft cloth.

1. Gomed Jewelry is temperature sensitive, so avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures to prevent fracturing
