The finest rubies still originate from Myanmar (Burma), Mozambique to Tanzania and Kenya also producing. Generally, rubies originating from outside of India are of a higher quality than those originating in India. Hence Indian rubies can be cost-effective.

2. Store your Ruby separately from your other jewelry to prevent the risk of scratches.
3. Exercise caution when cleaning rubies treated with fillings, as they are less durable than untreated ones.
